We are a small family-owned business and take pride in our work. Our goal is to provide customers with top-quality custom / handmade products to meet our client’s needs and expectations. Due to the custom nature of our products, there are no refunds or cancellations on your custom order. Before placing your order please read our terms below and reach out with any questions or concerns.
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of lilaandlin.com ("Website") and your purchase and use of our custom sofa products and related services. By accessing and using our Website or placing an order, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read this Agreement carefully before using our services.
1. Website Use:
a. You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into a contract to use our Website and make purchases.
b. You agree to use the Website solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement. Any unauthorized use or violation of these Terms and Conditions may result in the termination of your access to the Website.
2. Product Information:
a. The product information provided on our Website, including descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing, is accurate to the best of our knowledge. However, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of the information and reserve the right to modify or update it without prior notice.
b. Colors and finishes of our custom sofas may appear differently on different devices or screens. We recommend requesting fabric swatches or samples for accurate color representation before making a purchase.
3. Ordering and Customization:
a. At Lila & Lin, we are invested and committed 100% to each of our clients and their orders. During our consultations, we will help you measure, choose your materials, and select your fabric and accents, while taking into account the perfect feel for your style and taste. Please understand that as many of your products are handmade with machine assistance to your space, we rely on great communication from our clients so we can get a good understanding of your space. We welcome your input and inquiries at any time. Kindly feel free to reach out to our dedicated Design Consultant to get personal assistance.
b. When placing an order for custom furniture, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including measurements, preferences, and customization details.
Once you submit an order, it is considered a binding offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order at our discretion.
c. Customization options and availability may be subject to change without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to inform you in case any selected customization option is unavailable.
4. Color/Fabric/Material Selection
We encourage for you to request a swatch sample shipped to you before placing your order, as computer monitors /tablets can show a variation of colors. We firmly DO NOT accept returns based on the expectation of color. Before shipping your items, we will send you photos and your actual products for review. Please contact us and / or talk with our design team to select fabrics and request a swatch sample.
5. Measurements
Please be sure your dimensions are accurate. We are gladly to do phone / video calls with you for measurement help. It is our responsibility to create custom cushions and pillows in the fabric, trim, and fill selected by the customer in the dimensions provided by our customer with our allowable variance.
Please kindly allowable variance for the following products:
Standard Sofa Cushions: +/- 1/2 inch width, depth and length of provided dimensions
Hand Tufted Floor Cushions : +/- 1 inch width, depth and length of provided dimensions
If there are any doubts, we are more than happy to assist you at any time throughout the consultation process. Kindly reach out to us for tips on how to measure.
Your comfort and satisfaction are important to us, however, we cannot guarantee or accept returns based on the firmness/softness or other factors regarding the comfort level of our products. When we speak with you, we’ll find out what comfort level you are seeking and will advise accordingly.
6. Care & Cleaning
We recommend spot-cleaning all of your upholstery fabric for the best results. Use cold water and mild detergent. Drying is NOT recommended – Air Dry Only.
If you have chosen a Premier Prints fabric, the manufacturer recommends not laundering as it may shrink.
If you do choose to wash your Lila & Lin custom upholstered fabric or item(s), we are not responsible for any damages that may occur during the process. We recommend professional cleaners. Hand-tufted and button-tufted sofa cushions cannot be removed and re-upholstered without professional help.
7. Pricing and Payment:
a. The prices for our products are displayed on our Website and are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order will be displayed on our quotation emails to you and on your formal invoice.
b. All prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes, shipping fees, or additional charges, which will be added to the total amount due at checkout.
c. We ask for 50% down deposit before production starts. The other 50% is due when the sofa pieces are finished and photos are shown to you for review.
5. Shipping and Delivery:
a. We will provide an estimated delivery timeline during the order process, which is subject to change based on factors beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to meet the estimated delivery date but do not guarantee specific delivery dates.
b. Shipping and delivery charges, if applicable, will be communicated to you before finalizing the purchase.
c. All products are fully insured during shipping. However, the risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect the products upon receipt and notify us promptly of any damages or discrepancies.
6. Returns and Refunds:
a. Our returns and refund process is outlined separately in our Return & Refund Policy. Please refer to that policy for detailed information on eligibility, procedures, and timelines for returns and refunds.
7. Intellectual Property:
a. All content on our Website, including text, images, graphics, logos, designs, and trademarks, is the intellectual property of lilaandlin.com or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
b. You may not use, reproduce, modify, distribute, or transmit any of the Website content without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability:
a. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim any liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Website or the purchase and use of our products and services.
b. Our total liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific products or services giving rise to the claim.
9. Indemnification:
a. You agree to indemnify and hold lilaandlin.com, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Website, violation of this Agreement, or infringement of any third-party rights.

a. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the international trade law. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the international trade law.

a. We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The revised terms will be effective immediately upon posting on our Website.
